The Madison bombing, nearly a “fertilizer bomb” of nearly one ton was at the time the greatest terrorist act on US soil. Basically downplayed by the mainstream media because of it left wing political connotations it is often refered to as the “Hiroshima of the New Left”. Before the bombing in late 1969 and May 1970 (Think Kent State) protests used to draw over a million nationally but in May 1971 the protests drew only 30.000 nationally, a 97% decline. There were a number of other events but the Madison Bombing was arguably “the straw that broke the camel's back” in the “anti-war” protest movement. Amanda is the niece of Patricia Hearst. Ford Agency model Lydia_Hearst is Patricia Hearst's daughter. Technically not billionaires. The Hearst fortune won't be fully dispersed until the last heir alive when William Randolph Hearst died in 1951 dies. This is likely to be in the 2030's or 2040's. Until them 5% of Hearst Corporation revenues is dispersed to heirs of “The Chief. Hearst Corporation is privately held but a couple of years back the San Francisco Examiner cited the a figure of $18 billion value of the Hearst Corporation. Forbes Magazine has been wildly off in the past estimating the net worth of Hearst heirs. When Patrica Hearst's father Randolph Hearst died a few years back Forbes had recently estimated his worth as $1.8 billion. The court probate placed it at $26 million. I think I saw in there that Amanda Hearst gets around $140K annual “maintenance”. That might (or might not) be payment by the Hearst Corporation to the great grandchildren of William Randolph Hearst.

For the umpteenth time Highland Park is a neighborhood in the city of St. Paul, not a suburb. As for the supposed (9-11 influence, during the summer of 2001, Soliah/Olson was taking trips to California to try to negotiate a guilty plea under the cover of the “cookbook tours”. These talks fell apart whenever her lawyers could get another delay. With the CA appeals court rejection of the Soliah/Olson sentencing reduction it looks prison until at least 2010.

The above link is to a quick scan I did on the account of the LA shootout from the book “Voices of Guns” It is very readable. My “connection” is that, on that day I was at work here in Minneapolis when news crews came into our workplace. It seems that Camilla Hall of the SLA, considered killed in the shootout worked in our office before moving to California. Being a Friday, after work I headed to my then girlfriend's apartment. She and here roommate were comforting a distraught guy. This was Camilla Hall' s last Minnesota boyfriend. He was there because the shootout was live on local TV and by then girlfriend's roommate had been a roommate of Camilla Hall. (Perhaps it's “Karma”)

I recall a few years back receiving an email from a contact with a child at a prominent Eastern child. Apparently a “Hearst was going to school there flanked by several very large bodyguards and film crew was following it around. I determined it was not a daughter of Patricia Hearst so likely a daughter of one of Patricia's four sisters. Sounds like it may have been Anne Hearst's daughter. If so, that would make this all make sense. I would assume the niece of Patricia Hearst would assign one of the bodyguards the task of “designated driver”.

A couple of different points here. I obtained a screener copy of the DVD “This Revolution”, a documentary of the protests at the 2004 Republic Convention in New York. Redbox.com has been keeping me busy with $1 per day rental new release DVD's so I haven't watched much of “This Revolution” yet. As for “SLA angles” on this no direct ones but some indirect ones. On the eve of the sentencing of Soliah/Olson for the Opsahl murder there was an arson of police cars in a city storage lot near the Soliah/Olson St. Paul residence. I notified police of the “coincidence but I have no idea if there is a connection. After the Soliah/Olson arrest there was a near lock down of Downtown Minneapolis during a plant genetics conference in town. There seemed to be little public backlash against this. I worked downtown and experienced only minor inconvience. One “terrorist act” that occurred was the breaking of bottles of cyanide in chain restarants. Cyanide was what the SLA tipped their assassination bullets with.
As for the police surveying and videotaping public demonstrations are they like “public”? After the May 1974 SLA shootout in Los Angeles the police filmed the gathering in San Francisco's “Ho Chi Mihn Park”. Future presidential assassination attempter SARA JANE Moore was there when Kathleen Ann Soliah/SARA JANE Moore gave her speech there. SARA JANE Moore (75% of Sara(h) have the “h”) talked cryptically in a Playboy interview of assembling a complete collection of SLA documents and audio tapes and of knowing people very close to the SLA. (I don't know of any provable connection.) Kathleen Ann Soliah went on to aid the surviving SLA members. The final arrest of the Harris's and Patricia Hearst was due to the police making the connection (eventually) between Soliah/Olson at the rally and people associated with the “Ho Chi Minh Park” rally.

A number of interesting points to this story. First off Germany prohibits the media from using the full name even with adult crimes but it took me less than a minute to find it using Google. Next off is the potential start up date of Rote (Red) Zora. 1974 according to Wikipedia. This was the year of the kidnapping of Patricia Hearst. The SLA literature if full of reference to “revolutionary feminism”. There were other terrorist groups that claimed to be “feminists” but the Symbionese Liberation Army received, by a very large margin, the most worldwide mainstream media publicity. (At it's peak there were 300 reporters from around the world covering the SLA and the Hearst kidnapping.)
The “autonomous decorators” stunt occurred in 1999, the same year that Soliah/Olson was arrest here in the Twin Cities. Probably no direct connection but for a brief time after the June 1999 arrest of Soliah/Olson http://www.startribune.com/462/story/1120963.html
The “Adrienne G.” light sentencing is interesting for several reasons. She is now 58, white and middle class, basically like Soliah/Olson. In both cases the bombs were planted but did not go off. Several large differences worth noting: In both cases “the bombs didn't go off” but the Red Zoya bombs were specifically placed to be non-lethal. The Symbionese Liberation Army bombs specifically targeted police with a specific intent to kill police without regard to civilian casualties., at huge taboo in the US. Police in the US justifiably talk of the “thin blue line”. When police in the US are intentionally targeted for death by criminals in the US (a surprisingly rare incident.) the level of police protection falls dramatically due to “defense policing” and there tends to be a rise in crime and an erosion of civil rights. Americans, especially middle class Americans dislike higher crime and when it happens in “the hood” the majority of low income people turn against those attempting to terrorize the police.
Also, a big fear in the US was going into a bank and getting shot in a robbery. I recall in the pre- ATM days I used to cash checks at the work payment counter for cash. It was considered a service to employees at the time. I got nervous when I had to go into my back at the time. It was then the Riverside Bank in the Minneapolis “hippie” district. It was robbed periodically and I recall a bullet hole in door frame right next to the door handle. The SLA, with Soliah/Olson as the ringleader “counting out the seconds (according to Patricia Hearst) a bank customer http://myrnaopsahl.com , a mother of four was depisting church collections in the bank when she was murdered by the SLA. According to Patrica Hearst, Emily Montague Harris later remarked “Oh she's dead, but it really doesn't matter, she was a bourgeois pig anyway, her husband is a doctor, a useless member of a useless class.”
Also, the predominanatly white middle class Symbionese Liberation Army started by assassinating a popular and effective black leader Marcus Foster http://Makingschoolswork.com when racial tensions in the US were extremely high and there was a very real possibility of “race wars” in the US. Soliah/Olson chose to “aid and abett” the SLA knowing perfectly well their racist assassination legacy.
We have a substantially different culture here in the US compared to Germany. In Germany there is a certain nostalgia and support for the German far left groups that is absent in the US, especially after the initial media flurry has passed, Also, ““Adrienne G.” surrendered on her own. She was not arrested and she did not press a trial to the brink. Many differences and we are governed here by US law, not European law.

I will probably not follow this trial closely. Too many other kettles on the stove. This is a very high profile trial with the paparazzi and the entertainment industry. Judge Larry Fidler was scheduled to preside over the Kathleen Ann Soliah/Sara Jane Olson Los Angeles pipe bomb conspiracy until it ended in an “irrevocable” guilty plea.

The point here is that if the Soliah /Olson Los Angeles charges would have gone to trial it would have been a very high profile case. Judge Fidler is doing very well.

Six years before the SLA but San Francisco, the Haigh Ashbury district and Berkley were still perceived here in middle America as a something of an “alternative utopia”. I never made it out there but when I encountered someone who had lived in the San Francisco area I tried to question them about what was left of the “hippy” culture. Oddly enough, they tended to say that it flourished here (in the midwest) but had “gone to seed” San Francisco in little more than a year. On the Minneapolis “West Bank” and to a lesser extent “http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dinkytown” where I lived during the seventies and early eighties it was more like the “decade of love”. If this was common it may have explained why the future SLA members descended upon the San Francisco area.
I'll tape this new American Experience show on the “Summer of Love” and encourage all loyal reader to also tape it and watch it. It should be interesting.

I haven't viewed the video and probably won't. I believe that it tends to inspire “copycats” but I believe that NBC did the right thing by immediately and voluntarily sharing the information with police and limiting it's replay. To the best of my knowledge the Symbionese Liberation Army communiques' were the first example of the US mainstream media publishing such communiques' and “manifestos. The technology was different back then, the SLA used what was then “state of art” techniques. Polaroid photographs, and the then relatively new audio cassette. Still pictures can become “iconic”. An example is the “Tania” photograph of Hearst. I made the “Naga” background you are looking at from an SLA drawing. (It was required during the food giveaway but it didn't inspire the “masses”.) A loyal reader and friend called me up Sunday morning telling me about this story. I'm still waiting for the first cup of coffee to kick in but it looks like the California prison term is back to at least late 2010 or early 2011 for Soliah/Olson. I also expect the prospect of her being transferred to Minnesota's only women's prison here in the outskirts of Minneapolis to be basically nil.
I had begun to wonder if the California prosecutors had put the case “on the shelves with the guilty pleases and Micheal Latin and Eleanor Hunter becoming judges. It appears they have not. Stay tuned.

If anything they are silent when to opposing it.
I plan to post stories about the “Shari'a in Minnesota” and how it can be legally fought in the near future. Umm!, Err! One of these years I will I will get around to writing a “mission statement” for Soliah.com but my primary priority of Soliah.com is reporting everything about the Symbionese Liberation Army. After that it's the evolution of domestic terrorism. We seem to be a “ground zero” for it here in the Twin Cities and I have contacts, especially in the airport security sector.
We have the Target Store Muslim checkout clerks refusing to scan products with pork at the store in my zip code. Wal Mart would never tolerate this so I would suggest shopping Wal Mart rather than Target when possible. Wal Mart would never cave to this “religious accommodation” BS. There is a large body of legal precedent to fight it if corporate executives borrow a “backbone” and stand up to it. The executives at at Target apparently prefer the “jellyfish” which has no spine. This could be a giant marketing plus for Wal Mart if this heats up. I figured out the strategy, I'm sure Wal Mart lawyers are smarter than I am. It is the key book on the Glensheen Mansion murder in Duluth (The Glensheen Mansion is now a major Duluth tourist attraction, the Minnesota equivalent to the Hearst Castle.) A proposed amendment to the Minnesota Constitution require both houses of the Minnesota Legislature to vote for it. It is then put on the ballot during a general election at the back of the ballot. It needs to receive 70% affirmative vote. Not voting on it is considered a “No” vote. It is a very difficult threshold.
What has changed with the internet, blogs and talk radio these basically symbolic state legislative proposals can get “traction” when before they didn't get mentioned because the mainstream media dismissed them because they had little chance of passage. There is a certain logic to the argument “If they weren't serious about it they wouldn't have introduced the bill.”.

The store that this “good guy” Minneapolis Star Tribune reporter visited for the test is located five blocks from my house in my zip code (OK! If you want a tenious link before moving to St. Paul the then Symbionese Liberation Army fugitive Soliah/Olson and I shared the same 55406 zip code for around five years, <grin!>.
In one place I deal with, when doing evening work maybe six years ago I encountered a Muslim woman cleaner who insisted in sign language that I not eat when doing work and cover microwave heated food in “tupperware” before she would clean the area. I complained to management. Now the cleaning crews seem to be Nigerian refugee immigrants. They appear to be Muslim but I have eaten reheated pork chops and (as a test) the Raman noodle cup pork in front of them with the top label that says “Pork” clearly visable. These are Muslims and they don't seem to mind or give it a second thought. These Nigerian Muslims are careful not to disturb me when it is obvious I am working on a task but like to visit when I am taking a break, especially when I am eating. They like to “bounce” English off me. I like to use my linguistic skills to correct them.
My theory is that a lot of these people claiming the “Sharia” Islamic religion came here as political refugees, went of welfare and the time limits are ending so they have to get a job. If they get fired for their “religious” beliefs they might have grounds for appeal on the welfare time limit. Laura Billings of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported that 23% of the Hennepin County (where I live) welfare/social service caseload is immigrants.
Next question: Minnesota “gasoline” is at least 10% alcohol. This is basically the same alcohol that people drink. 90% of airport cab drivers are supposed to be Muslim. Sounds like they are “transporting alcohol. I haven't heard of an fataws on this matter. Every gas pump states that the gas contains alcohol so ignorance of this is not an excuse.

From memory I do not recall the death of Paul Avery in 2000. A co-author of the book “Voices of Guns”. I recall from memory that the Soliah defense has cited the book and a time disparity as a potential defense in the Los Angelese case. As recall this was contradicted by more solid evidence.

Good follow up report with more detail on the US Air incident. The “Flying Imams” are now “camera shy.”. Worth watching and reading. Soliah.com was the first to research and report on the seat belt extenders and speculated on their use as weapons. (What is scarey is that these extenders can be a carry on item. http://www.extend-its.com/ ) These seat belt extenders need a radical redesign so that once latched one they cannot be removed without a special tool or special code. Thye have far too much potential to be used as a weapon weather request or carry on. With a code system the pilot could have the code and either transmit it or tell it by telephone to the rest of the flight crew. The belts, in storage should be locked down where a code is needed to release them with the pilots locked in the cockpit having the codes. It should also be procedure that only one belt extension can be in an unlocked state at any time. These are dangerous potential weapons.
One final point. I see no reason why US Air and security authorities can't bing civil charges to recover damages if they believe this one done as a “publicity stunt” or to test security. The “Flying ImamS” would be forced to do a lot of “splaining”.

02-02-07 Computer with Front Page is failing. I am trying to switch to for the web page updating.
I think my Computer “homebuiilt” dates back to the Soliah/Olson arrest in June 1999. I regularly backup and archive the hard drive (multiple locations of backup disks.). It looks like the video card isn't reading on it. I could fix it but the Computer is at least eight years old so it deserves a good retirement. I probably did 90% of my Soliah.com work on that Computer up to the Opsahl prosecution. It served me well.
I have Front Page on another Computer but that runs “Windows ME” which is no longer supported. Without knowing the details of this prosecution my general opinion is that the far left has finally lost it's “sacred cow” status. This might have started with the Soliah/Olson arrest in June 1999 when prosecutors discovered that a “pox” did not descend on them and their family.

First off a correction. 50,000 rounds of ammo were not shot at the SLA Los Angelese shootout. It was more like 5,000 to 6,000 total. The 50,000 rounds represented the total number of rounds that had been fired by a Los Angeles police swat team rifle, mostly before this and mostly in target presence. The gun barrel was replaced after the SLA shootout when it was determined that the barrel was worn out.
As forthe proposed movie "77" an off duty LA cop Mike Edwards was killed execution style the day after the SLA arrived in LA less than half a mile from where the SLA first stayed in Los Angeles. A 1995 novel "77th Street Requiem" focused on a potential SLA involvement. Officer Edward's service pistol showed up in a metal scrap yard in Las Vega five years after his death. Jack Scott's parents were caretakers of a motel in Vegas and harbored SLA fugitives several times.
The novel contained the ballistics of the bullet that killed Officer Edwards. I sent this information the LA prosecutors of Soliah/Olson. The cross checked it against all of the SLA guns but no match. The current theory is that Mike Edwards was killed off duty in a lover's triangle involving a black woman that the white Mike Edwards was seeing, not the SLA. It is the only unsolved cop killing in Los Angeles history.

Basically a retelling of past information that may be relevant with the new makeup of the US Congress. I was the one who first located Keith Ellison's speech at the February 2000 Soliah/Olson fundraiser. http://presslord.com/speech.htm as for elected local Minnesota politicians who supported Soliah/Olson there was the current State Senator Sandy Pappas, former state representative Andy Dawkins and them St. Paul City Council member, now mayor of Minnesota's capital city St. Paul, Chris Coleman. I thought that the behavior or Dawkins and Coleman was fair and reasonable. Before the arrest Dawkins was the family lawyer and Coleman was reportedly the "Best Man" at the Soliah wedding more than fifteen years earlier.
Goggling, I found this 1975 Time Magazine article on the New World Liberation Front http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,913516-3,00.html which mentioned the Soliah clan. Basically, I think that the New World Liberation Front was one of those nascent concepts bandied around the post protest heyday Berkley crowd. It gained publicity when Bill Harris sent out a communiqué after the Los Angeles shootout saying that the SLA had ceased to exist and instead had become the "George Jackson/Sam Melville brigade of the New World Liberation Front. The inclusion of Sam Melville (a leader of the Attica prison revolt) was said to be at the insistence of James Kilgore.
On a personal level a branch of the NWLF, probably not directly related to the SLA but a bomb in a bank safe-deposit box that was triggered by a digital watch so it took months to detonate. I had a safe-deposit box. The clerk had me show and fan the contents to make sure there wasn't an imbedded bomb. They also raised the box rental fee because of security measures needed after this blast.

I don’t care if Keith Ellison takes the photo-op oath on a Mickey Mouse club membership card. The point is that Ellison is making a “statement” by his decision to “symbolically” use the Koran for the “photo-op” signing in.
Such “statements” can be used later against the person, especially if their decisions and actions are in question. (Note the huge drop in the polls for Paul Wellstone when he first tried his activism tactics in congress).
Also, Kieth Ellison would not comment on weather he would “swear the oath” on the bible or koran until after the election. (A “bait and switch?”) and the MSM did not push Ellison on this point during the campaign. That’s another angle that can be pursued.
I’m surprised that no one has made at least a mock “Draft Keith Ellison for President” mock website. The big democratic thing now is Barak Omaba (sp) He was American born, of relative affluence who converted from Islam to Christianity. There is a “Draft Barak” movement.

Worth reading to help understand the Hearst Corporation. Note that the Hearst Corporation disillusionment is expected around 2040 when Patricia Hearst will be in her late eighties. Basically, until then, when the last relative alive when William Randolph Hearst was alive dies, the corporation is supposed to return 5% of the revenues/profits to the "heirs". WR Hearst died in 1951 and Patricia Hearst was born a couple of years later. The current payout is said to be "significant" enough for some heirs apparently to not have to work. The payout was reportedly far less at the time Patricia Hearst was kidnapped. The media often gets this very wrong. When Patricia Hearst's father died a few years back Forbes magazine estimated his worth at 1.8 Billion dollars. In estate probate the amount stated was $26 million.

The original article, (scroll down) is interesting in several respects. First off, the real prospect of a true mass uprising in the US basically ended in 1970, the last year of the million plus "Mayday type" national demonstrations on or near college campuses. In 1971, by contrast the national "Mayday" demonstrations only drew 30,000 total nationwide, a 97% decline that was the pattern for decades afterwards. Like the future SLA members the "die hards" gravitated to the San Francisco/Berkeley area. This 1976 article describes the post-decline "scene" very well. There was a usually tepid to keep the last few embers going in hopes of relighting the revolutionary fire. BTW: "Leninists" refers to the various communistic/socialistic models with a lot of "top down" management and control.
The author is writing from an "Anarchist" perspective. The SLA had a smorgasboard of political philosophies, like most primarily being "against the system" more than any philosophy that was really thought out. Toward the end, when the SLA were in prison they gradually realized that they ideas were closer to many of the principles of anarchism. The Symbionese Liberation Army was at times totally inept, at one time issuing a "death warrant" for someone who had been dead close to a year. That said the SLA was lethal and dangerous. Overall this article offers good "selective deconstruction" but it fails to mention that the perps father was a Nation of Islam member, he apparently was a NOI member. The San Francisco Zebra Killers were members of the NOI who were provided with legal defense from NIO if they didn't cooperate with authorities. Retima X and other San Francisco NOI members became folk heroes of the NOI for refusing to cooperate with authorities on the SLA. Rhetima X and her group did not commit any terrorist acts but they received a lot of publicity in connection with the SLA case. The Washington DC snipers were alledged mmebers of the Nation of Islam. The danger with the "hotheads" is that eventually they can figure out what is effective.

I first read the article with the timeline graphic a couple of days before but couldn't find it again for a while. When I did I emailed the link to PowerLineblog.com which quickly used it and credited me. What I usually try to do is keep a notepad open when surfing the net. If any stories look interesting I paste a brief description and the link. If at home I save the notepad via date, if using a remote computer I'll cut and paste the text and web mail it to myself. This time I didn't and it took me a couple of days to find the story. The notepad/paste trick is good because it uses virtually no computer resources. It converts all text to ASCII which, if pasted in emails makes for a compact text message.
If your following the "flying Imans" story the Powerline update give the latest. The Wall Street Journal story is excellent and important since the WSJ directly and via Opinionjournal.com (WSJ is a subscription service and Opinionjournal.com is where they put WSJ articles worthy of wider free public accessibility. Business people obviously fly a lot so airline safety is of great importance to their readers.
Several points from the WSJ story. It mentions the rather dramatic weight loss of the Imans versus what they told reporters versus what the police reports state. This is relavent since, as I was the first person to publicly point out, the seat belt extension can be used as a weapon. Next off, it mentions the involvement of the "Muslim American Society" and cites them as the source of the "fatahs" to Twin Cities airport cab drivers. (the vast majority Somalia's). Previously I had heard reference to the "Muslim Brotherhood. Same group? In either case it seems like they are Arab Muslims aligned with the Whahabi (most conservative) branch of Islam. The local Somalis, which make up something like 80% of the local cab drivers are Islamic but not Arab. The local "activism" seemed to start after the Islamic takeover of Somalia last June. This seems like potential intimidation of local Somali cab drivers, many of whom still have relatives and friends in Somalia.
Also, the Wall Street Journal article mentioned that the Muslim American Society announced yesterday that they planned legal action against US Air for the "Flying Iman's" incident. They are totally clueless! This stunt has totally backfired, with no one much beyond Keith Ellison and a handful of "useful idiots" saying that the "Flying Iman's were a victim of profiling and prejudice. Thanks to some brave people in the media who are willing to defy political correctness and blogs, especially the well read http://powerlineblog.com (note how the seat belt extensions have become prominent in the story. I was the first to point out their weapons potential and Power Line picked this up. If the airlines want a more secure seat belt extension system I have some design ideas, just ask. If the Muslim Brotherhood or the Muslim American Society wants to file this lawsuit I would like to quote Clint Eastwood, playing "Dirty Harry" who said those immortal words "Go ahead, make my day!". Bring it on.
Also interesting in the WSJ article is the concept of the airline captain being much like the old ship's captain. What I hadn't thought about is that now the pilot captain cannot leave the secured cockpit once the airplane takes off no matter what happens.

Anyway, I am not fan of Keith Ellison but I say
that if he wants to "symbolically" swear his oath of
allegiance on the Koran, I say let him. When he screw up, which he

cited and the public will easily understand. As an example, Ellison
is pretty much the only one in authority saying that the "Flying
Imams" were discriminated

can tell no one has defended the Imam's on the seat belt extensions.

"Charles Lafond Lewis, now 50, was charged with criminal sexual conduct in January 1985. According to the criminal complaint filed then, he hit an 18-year-old woman and forced her to have sexual intercourse, then fell asleep on her couch."
Shades of the Symbionese Liberation Army's token black leader Donald DeFreeze, aka "Cinque Mutumi". DeFreeze took a prostitute to a motel room, had sex with her, hit her. stole her handbag, drugs, a flask of alcohol and a handgun. Defreeze kicked her out of the motel room and then fell asleep on the bed with the purse drugs and gun next to him. The prostitute told the police who woke and arrested DeFreeze. DeFreeze asked the police to move his car so it wouldn't be towed. The police used the keys to open the trunk and found some guns stolen in a then recent gun store burglary. When confronted DeFreeze said he knew where the guns were stored. DeFreeze showed the police the guns and jumped out of a second story window to escape. DeFreeze was arrested a few days later hanging out at his regular street corner.
The commonality is falling asleep on the couch after the criminal act. Plus I love retelling the story of DeFreeze's final arrest because it shows that DeFreeze was basically a "dumb criminal" who got very lax thinking he could "snitch" his way out of any legal bind he got into.

A lot of "fleshing out" of details of this story including source documents. Besides the Keith Ellison election victory I believe that this is part of a larger plot to impose Shari a law on Muslims living in Minnesota. Most Minnesota Muslims are Somali refugees who still have relatives in Somalia. (The Twin Cities has the largest Somali refugee population in the US) Somalia was taken over by Islamic forces last June. It was after that that the refusal by Muslim/Somali cab drivers to transport alcohol and guide dogs for the blind increased markedly. In Somalia there was had traditionally been no problems with the transport of alcohol and guide dogs. Fatah's against this transport seem to have come from the Muslim Brotherhood, who are Arab Whahabi (extremely fundamentalist) Muslims. Somalis are not Arabs.
