11-06-03#2 Oakland's Mountain View Cemetery is the final resting place of Marcus Foster, the "Black Daliah" and Charles Crocker, founder of Crocker Banks. Myrna Opsahl was killed in a Crocker Bank.
Note: Marcus Foster was assassinated on election day November 5, 1973. The next day the SLA released communiqué #1 claiming credit for the Marcus foster assassination. This was the first public mention of the Symbionese Liberation Army.. Only the coroner and a detective witnessing the autopsy knew of the cyanide tipped bullets so their mention in the message authenticated the message. Technically, the bullets killed Dr. Foster. It would have required cyanide from 35 bullets to reach a lethal dose of cyanide poison. Russle Little was ultimately acquitted on the Foster Murder but served around five years for court assault and a failed jail breakout attempt. The Kobe Bryant prosecutors plan to do the same thing. Any private citizen could get the records if they went through the cost and effort. In the summer of 2000 the prosecutors in the Soliah Los Angeles case called me and a prosecution website was one of the things we discussed. They were worried that it would be "unseemly" and I agreed. It seems now we were ahead of the curve and such prosecution websites will become the norm.
